3. Place the document face down on the document table. Make
sure that the horizontal and vertical edges of the document
are aligned with the document guides.
Use the document guide strip to align the horizontal edge of
the document.
Note:
An area 3 mm in from both horizontal and vertical rulers will not be
scanned.
