1. Slide the edge guides all the way to the outside.
2. Insert the paper stack face up into the Automatic Document
Feeder until it meets resistance. Then adjust the edge guides
to match the size of your paper.
❏ If your document is in portrait orientation (the top and
bottom edges are shorter than the sides), insert the
document with the bottom edge closest to the document
feed path.
