Removing the Cover for Thick or Large Documents
When you want to scan a document larger than the document
table or a thick book which makes difficult to close the document
cover, you can remove the document cover to make it easier to
align the document.
Carefully lift straight up on the back of the document cover.
Note:
When scanning with the cover removed, do not leave any area of the
document table exposed to prevent interference from external light.
Hold the back of the document
cover and lift straight up.
