4. Click Open. This closes the Choose Firmware File dialog box and returns you to the
Firmware Loader main screen.
5. Click Begin. This uploads the new firmware onto your connected device. The
Progress bar for the selected device shows the progress of the upload. After the
upload is complete, this eld is blue and shows 100%.

6. Exit Firmware Loader. The DSP Congurator workspace restores itself and returns you
to Emulate mode because connection is lost after a rmware upload.
To reconnect to the device click the Live button in the application window or from the
Tools menu, select Connect to Device.
