Introduction
This chapter illustrates the power of CAS, and the
Equation Writer, by working though a number of
examples. Some of these examples are variations on
questions from senior math examination papers.
The examples are given in order of increasing difficulty.
Example 1 If A is:
calculate the result of A in the form of an irreducible
fraction, showing each step of the calculation.
Solution: In the Equation
Writer, enter A by typing:
