Image formation process
Each of the following processes functions independently and must be coordinated with the other
product processes. Image formation consists of the following processes:
Latent-image formation block Step 1: pre-exposure
Step 2: primary charging
Step 3: laser-beam exposure
Developing block Step 4: developing
Transfer block Step 5: primary transfer
Step 6: secondary transfer
Step 7: separation
Fusing block Step 8: fusing
ITB cleaning block Step 9: ITB cleaning
Drum cleaning block Step 10: Drum cleaning
