remote peer along with the local address (which is
generally automatically provided), enter the local
sub-address.
c. In the User data field, enter data to be inserted into
the call request packet. User data helps the remote
peer identify the caller and connection protocols.
d. To have a reverse charging request facility inserted
in the X.25 call packet, check the Propose reverse
charging field.
2. In the Incoming call section, set up properties for
incoming calls as follows:
a. In the Remote address and Local sub-address
fields, enter the address of the remote peer(s) from
which to accept incoming calls.
You can use 1 to 15 decimal digits or wildcard
characters. Use the wildcard character ? as a
placeholder for a single digit, and the character * as
a placeholder for a block of digits.
b. In the User data field, enter user data to be checked
in the incoming call packet. User data helps identify
the caller and the protocols used in the connection.
c. To have the local peer accept a reverse charging
request proposed by the remote peer, check the
Accept reverse charging field.
3. In the Closed user group field, enter a closed user
group number to be used by the network when the local
peer belongs to several user groups.
For outgoing calls, this number determines to which
group the outgoing call packet is routed.
