Channels Functions
Use the Channels section of the NDIS Driver Setup dialog box
to create and configure channels for each logical adapter’s
WAN and LAN network communications.
For each channel, the IP/IPX column displays LEDs
associated with the LAN protocol(s) routed through the
channel. The IP LED represents the TCP/IP protocol, and the
IPX LED represents the IPX/SPX protocol. The LED color is
dynamically updated when the channel status changes. The
following table describes the channel LEDs.
This LED color... Means...
Green The channel is connected.
Black An error occurred during the transfer of properties
between the NDIS Driver Setup program and the
NDIS driver.
If the NDIS driver is not running, or if you have not
restarted your system since the last installation, this
state is normal.
Gray The channel is not connected, and has not been
connected since the last system startup.
Yellow Channel connection is pending for an incoming or
outgoing call. This is a transitional state; the channel
should be in this state for only a few seconds.
Blue The channel was connected but is now idle due to
inactivity.
Red An error occurred during the last connection. See the
error code in the last column or click the Status button
to view information in the Status dialog box.
