2. Switch the instrument off and unplug from mains, see chapter 5.3.1.
3. Extract the knife from the knife holder, see chapter 7.6.
4. Lock the window, see chapter 3.4.3.
5 Open the cabinet lid, see chapter 3.4.4.
6. Remove screws (1) and screws (2). When removing screws (1), make
sure the spacer rings (3) located between the console (4) and and the
microtome (5) do not get lost.
7. Fold down the sledge cover belts (6).
8. Disconnect the connectors (7) from the left side of the cryochamber
(do not disconnect from the microtome).
9. Fasten ropes or straps of sufficient lifting capacity to the microtome
handles (8).
10. Carefully lift the microtome (5) out of the chamber using the crane.
To avoid damages to the cryochamber, make sure that the microtome
(5) does not rotate or dangle.
