7.6.1 Inserting standard knives
To insert a standard knife, proceed as follows.
Tools required:
• Allen key (size 4).
Proceed as follows:
1. Use the knee lever to move the sledge to the right-side reversal point.
For further information, refer to chapters 3.2.2 and 6.4.9.
2. Comply with the safety instructions provided in chapter 7.6.
3. Open the window. For further information, refer to chapter 3.4.3.
4. Remove screws (1) and remove pressure plate (2).
5 Place knife (3) on support plate (4).
6. Place pressure plate (2) on knife (3).
7. Tighten screws (1) slightly.
8. Adjust the knife (3) using the positioning tool (5). Attach the positioning
tool (5) to the knife holder (6) as shown. The two plastic pegs (5a)
press the knife (3) into the correct position.
9. Tighten screws (1) completely.
10. Adjust the knife angle. For further information, refer to chapter 7.6.3.
