1. From the main menu, press to display Printer
Configuration. Press . You’ll see
Enter password:_____________
Type the 1-8 character password and press .
NOTE: When you first receive the printer, the password is
MANAGER or ONLINE.
2. You’ll see the Configuration Options menu.
Select Config Option: ↓
Define Check Digit Schemes __
Press until you see 9420/9440 Compatible Mode.
Press to select this option.
3. You’ll see the previous selection, for example
9420/9440 Compatible Mode: E
E)nable or D)isable
4. Either
• type E and press to print 9420/9440 fonts and
horizontal field location
• type D and press to print 9425/9445/9465 fonts
and horizontal field location.
You’ll see the Configuration Options menu.
Press to exit to the main menu.
Using 9420/9440 Imaging Mode
9420/9440 imaging mode lets you use your 9425, 9445, or
9465 printer to print formats that have overlapping fields.
