7.
Align the fastener hole in the hard drive with its corresponding hole
in the chassis. Secure the drive in place with the previously removed
screw.
8.
Tighten the accessible shoulder screw.
9.
Lower the device bracket halfway, and plug in the CD-ROM drive
signal cable, power cable, and audio cable (if installed).
10.
Lower the device bracket into the chassis until it locks in place.
As you lower the device bracket, ensure that all
cables are folded correctly, are out of the way, and are not pinched.
11.
Replace the system cover (see Replacing the Cover).
12.
Set the hard drive parameters using autotype in the BIOS (see
Chapter 3).
