Managing the local portal database (cont’d.)
prompted for the user name and password
you define for the database.
password—the password that applies to
the user you specified. To use the local
database for authorization only, after
an external authentication server has
authenticated the user, enter an asterisk
(*).
group—the name of the group to which
the specified user belongs. The group must
exist in the NSNAS domain. The group
name is used for authorization. To view
available group names, press TAB or use
the /cfg/doamin #/aaa/ cur group
command.
passwd <user name>
<password>
Changes the specified user’s password in the
local database.
groups <user name>
<desired group>
Changes the specified user’s group
membership in the local database.
radattr<add> <list>
<del>
Configures the RADIUS attribute in the local
database.
del <user name>
Deletes the specified user from the local
database.
list
Lists all users added to the local database by
user name, password (encrypted), and group
membership.
The command a maximum of 100 database
entries at a time. If there are more than 100
entries in the database, you can limit the
display by using a string of characters directly
followed by an asterisk (*). For example, the
command list jo* all entries with user
names starting with
jo.
