98 Remote connection configuration using Device Manager
The Static Routes tab appears.
3 Click Insert.
The Insert Static Routes dialog box appears.
4 Select the owner virtual router and forwarder (VRF).
5 In the Dest box, type the IP address.
6 In the Mask box, type the mask.
7 In the NextHop box, type the IP address of the router through
which you access the specified route.
8 Select the next hop VRF ID if configuring an interVRF static
route.
9 In the Metric box, type the HopOrMetric value.
10 In the Preference box, select the route preference.
11 Select Enable.
12 Select the LocalNextHop option if creating Layer 3 static routes.
13 Click Insert.
The new route appears in the Static Routes tab

Variable definitions
Use the data in the following table to configure the Insert Static Routes
dialog box.
Variable Value
OwnerVrfId Configures the owner VRF ID of the
static route.
Dest Configures the destination IP address
of this route. An entry with a value of
0.0.0.0 is the default route. Multiple
routes to a single destination can
appear in the table, but access to
such multiple entries depends on the
network management protocol table
access mechanisms.
Mask Is route network mask with the
destination address before the switch
compares the mask to the value in the
Dest box.
