FAX ONLY mode ring count
This setting determines the number of rings before the unit answers a call in the FAX ONLY mode.
You can choose from 1 to 5 rings. If you use the unit with an answering machine, select “5 EXT.TAM” and see
pages 67 to 69.
Helpful hints:
≥To answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of rings.
≥If you have difficulty receiving faxes, the other parties may have tried to send faxes before confirming if your
unit answered or not. Decrease the number of rings.
Note:
≥If you subscribe to a Caller ID service, set this ring
count setting to 2 or more rings.
