a. Detailed data type restrictions
• Use "S" option in parameter #3. Defines a
specific set of characters for the entire field.
You can limit input to some, but not all letters or
digits.
• The string length does not have to match the
field length. Maximum string length is 30
letters, and must be enclosed in quotation
marks.
Example
R,3,S,"ABC1234567890"
This example limits input in this field to the
letters A, B, and C, and all digits.
