• The True parameter setting causes the printer to continuously assert the
RTS signal.
• The False setting causes the printer to never assert the RTS signal.
• The Online & BNF (buffer not full) setting (the default setting) causes the
printer to assert the RTS signal only when the printer is online and its
internal serial buffer is not full.
• The Offline or BF (buffer full) asserts the RTS signal when the printer is
off-line or the internal serial buffer is full.
• The Online setting causes the printer to assert the RTS signal whenever
the printer is online.
Buffer Size In K
Values: 1 – 128 (64 default)
This parameter reflects the size in K of the printer’s data buffer.
Poll Character
Values: The allowable range is hex 0 through FF. The default value for this
parameter is 0.
This parameter selects the character that the printer recognizes as the Series 1
poll character.
NOTE: This parameter is used only with the SERIES 1, 1 CH and SERIES
1, 2 CH protocols. See page 3–31 for more information.
Poll Response
Values: 0 to 30 MS. The default value for this parameter is 0+ Msec.
This parameter selects the Series 1 delay time, in milliseconds, that the printer
waits prior to sending the Series 1 response to the host.
NOTE: This parameter is used only with the SERIES 1, 1 CH and SERIES
1, 2 CH protocols. See page 3–31 for more information.
