alignedwiththepinsonthetractorunits.Iftheyarenotalignedp~operly,
youwillhaveproblemswithpaperfeeding,possiblyresultingintearing
andjammingof thepaper.
8. Remounttherollerunit andreplacethe rearcoverand thetop cover.
Paperparking
Afier loading fanfold paper from the rear of the printer, you do not have to
unload it when you want to print on a single sheet. The printer will “park”
it for you if you follow the procedure below.
1. To begin paper parking, start with power ON, fanfold paper loaded in
printing position,
andthe releaseleverforward.
2. Pressthe(
ON LINE }buttononthecontrolpanelto settheprinteroff-
line.ON
LINE indicator willturnoff.
3. Tearoff theprintedformat thelastperforation,leavingnot morethan
abouthalf a pageshowingabovethe topcover.If necessary,pressthe
(PAPERFEED] buttonto feedpaperforwarduntilaperforationislocated
just abovethe topcover,andtearthere.
4. Pressthe (

> buttonon thecontrolpanel.
.Theprinterwillautomaticallyfeedthefanfoldformbackwarduntilthe
paperis completelyfreeof theplaten.
