23. Enter the following commands:
setenv auto-boot? false
reset-all
The system reboots to the ok prompt.
24. Enter:
probe-scsi
This verifies that the system recognizes all of the disk devices, including the newly
installed ones. A message that is similar to the following example is displayed:
The devices listed depends on the number of disks that are installed in the system.
25. Enter the following commands:
CAUTION:
!
CAUTION: If you fail to enter these commands, any reboots that you do in the future will stop
at the boot prompt instead of proceeding through the normal boot-up process.
setenv auto-boot? true
boot -r
The system reboots.
26. Log in as root.
27. Continue with Setting up the disk drives
on page 109.
