Computer layout
Familiarize yourself with the layout of the computer. The minimum configuration for the
computer depends on the model.
The layout of the V880 is as follows:
One CPU/Memory board with two UltraSPARC lIl processors and 4-GB total memory
Four 73-GB disk drives, mirrored two plus two (optionally, a third pair of disks can be
added to support the AUX 100 software load)
One built-in ethernet port
One of the following SCSI/ethernet cards:

SunSwift card installed in slot 2, or
-
Dual FastEthernet and Dual SCSI card installed in slot 2

Important:
Important: On earlier versions of the V880, the ethernet cards were installed in the following
order:
Slots 0, 1, 2, and 5
Avaya now recommends that ethernet cards be installed in the following order:
Slots 2, 1, 6, and 5

One graphics PCI card installed in slot 7
Three power supplies and power cords
One DVD-ROM drive
One tape drive
Two USB ports
One serial port
