8. Slide the controller board back into
the printer and reinstall the screws.
9. Connect the power cord and the
interface cable to the printer.

10. Turn on the printer and ensure that
during the self-test cycle, the dis-
play shows the new memory in the
DRAM tests. If the memory indi-
cated is incorrect, reinstall the
memory module.
$$ is a running count of bytes
tested (1M, 2M, 4M, 8M, 16M,
32M, 64M, 96M).
Note: The amount of memory installed is shown on the bottom row of the display
immediately after start-up.
