Phaser 340 Color Printer
The extended features option is superior for workgroups, enhancing the
printer’s performance in the following ways:
■ 600 x 300 dpi resolution printing
■ an additional 16 Mbytes of memory, totalling 24 Mbytes. More
memory provides job pipelining to speed printer throughput and
offloading of print jobs from your computer, faster processing of
image data, and additional storage for more downloadable fonts.
■ an additional 52 fonts for a total of 69 fonts
Note
The startup page reports the printer’s configuration, including
installed RAM memory and fonts. For information on printing a
startup page, refer to “Printing the startup page” on page A-4.
Optional Lower Paper Tray Assembly
An optional Lower Paper Tray Assembly for paper printing is available for
the printer. With a 500-sheet capacity, the Lower Paper Tray Assembly
transforms the printer into a high-volume printing solution for networked
environments.
Using the optional Lower Paper Tray Assembly, you can configure the
printer for dual-tray printing capability. Two trays are especially useful if
you commonly print on several types of media, for example office paper in
the lower tray and transparencies, letterhead, or label media in the upper
tray.
