4.12 Optical disk drive (DVD-Super Multi drive)/MDC modem
Removing the Optical disk drive/MDC modem
To remove the optical disk drive/MDC modem, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-
12 to 4-16.
CAUTION: When the optical disk inside the optical disk drive can not be ejected
because of some failure, open the disc tray by inserting a slender object
(about 15 mm) such as a straightened paper clip into the eject hole near the
eject button.
An optical disk drive or MDC modem (dummy ODD) is incorporated
exclusively.
1. Disconnect the ODD FPC from the connector CN9400 on the system board.
2. Remove the following screw and optical disk drive from the slot.
