In some network environments, it may be necessary to set
NetBEUI as the default protocol.

Right click on the Network Neighborhood icon on the
desktop.

Select
Properties
from the context menu.

Select
NetBEUI
from the list of installed components.

Select the
Properties
button.

Select the
Advanced
tab in the NetBEUI properties dialog.

Check the
Set this protocol to be the default protocol
checkbox.

Select the
OK
button.

Close the Network dialog and restart the workstation.
