TROUBLESHOOTING
This chapter describes troubleshooting procedures for the
CoreBuilder
™
5000 Ethernet 24-Port Module. Information on
troubleshooting will assist you in verifying the module's operation.
Typical fault conditions are addressed in this chapter.
Troubleshooting Diagnostic features are covered in Table 3-3. Tables 4-1, 4-2, and 4-3 in
this chapter cover fault conditions and troubleshooting suggestions for
the module. This chapter is divided into the following parts:

With the Module
Status LED
In certain situations, the module status LED may not light. Table 4-1
outlines both the possible reasons for this problem and some probable
solutions.

Off Hub power is off Check the controller module power

The 24-Port module is faulty Try a different 24-Port module.
The hub does not have
