Choices
Conventional (default)—Allow one LocalTalk
connection and accept only one print job at a
time. If two users send print jobs to the printer,
the workstation belonging to the first user is
unavailable until the first job has been printed,
and the workstation belonging to the second user
is unavailable until both jobs have been printed.
Spool—Allow multiple LocalTalk connections and
accept (spools) more than one print job at a time.
Workstations are available while jobs are printing.
Both—Allow both single and multiple LocalTalk
connections.
Notes: The printer must be restarted for changes to the Connection menu
to take effect. You can either let the printer restart automatically after you
save the change and exit the Configuration menu, or you can wait for the
change to take effect the next time you manually turn on the printer.
