Your NOOK’s wireless connectivity lets you shop for eBooks, magazines, and newspapers from the
Barnes & Noble eBookstore from your NOOK. There is no need to visit a website. You can buy
subscriptions to magazines and newspapers, or single issues.
What you buy is delivered to your online digital library immediately and downloaded to your NOOK
within about a minute. For a subscription, the current issue is delivered and downloaded.
For the NOOK (Wi-Fi + 3G model), downloads of very large eBooks, periodicals, and
magazines require a Wi-Fi connection.
Enter the Shop by tapping shop on the Home menu:

You can browse and search in the Shop on an unregistered NOOK. You just can’t buy anything. If
you try to buy something from an unregistered NOOK, your NOOK will prompt you to register.
Shopfront
The first page of the Shop is the shopfront. It is a navigable page with three parts:
• Content types (eBooks, Magazines, and Newspapers) allow you to browse items of each
content type. Within a content type, you can browse subjects, for example, Romance and
Historical Fiction.
• Collections contains lists of content, such as Bestsellers and New Releases.
• A merchandising area at the bottom of the reading screen displays B&N corporate
promotions such as special oers. When you are in a Barnes & Noble Bookstore, the
merchandising area also displays in-store special oers (look for More in Store). The
merchandising area can span several pages. Use the Next Page and Previous Page buttons to
turn pages.
