Setting the Telephone Line Type
Use this procedure if you need to change the factory-set telephone line setting.*
If you are unsure which setting to use, contact your local telephone company.
1. Press FUNCTION.

2. Use or to select USER SETTINGS.

3. Press START/COPY.

4. Use or to select TEL LINE TYPE.

5. Press START/COPY, then use or to select the correct telephone line
type.
TOUCH TONE
ROTARY PULSE
6. Press START/COPY to save the telephone line type.
R-KEY SETTING
7. Press STOP to return to standby mode.

* The factory default setting is ROTARY PULSE for all countries except the UK. The factory default
setting for the UK is TOUCH TONE.
