RADIUS
NOTE: If you select RADIUS as your Security
Mode, each device in your wireless network
MUSTuseRADIUSandthesameWEPencryption
andsharedkey.
SecurityMode>RADIUS
RADIUS Server EntertheIPAddressoftheRADIUSserver.
RADIUS Port  Enter the port number of the RADIUS
server.Thedefaultvalueis1812.
Shared Secret Enterthe keysharedbetween theValet
andtheserver.
Encryption SelectalevelofWEPencryption,40/64bits
(10 hex digits) or 104/128 bits (26 hex digits). The
defaultis40/64 bits (10 hex digits).
Passphrase EnteraPassphrasetoautomaticallygenerate
WEPkeys.ThenclickGenerate.
Key 2 IfyoudidnotenteraPassphrase,entertheWEP
keymanually.
Disabled
NOTE:
When wireless security is disabled,
anyonecanaccessyourwirelessnetworkatany
time.
SecurityMode>Disabled
If you choose to disable wireless security, you will be
informed that wireless security is disabled when you
firstattempttoaccesstheInternet.Youwillbegiventhe
option to enable wireless security, or confirm that you
understand the risks but still wish to proceed without
wirelesssecurity.

The Wireless MAC Filter option allows you to block or grant
access to your network basedon the device’s MAC address.
EachdeviceonyournetworkhasauniqueMACaddressthat
wasassignedtoitbythemanufacturer.

multiple devices from accessing your wireless network.
Youcan manuallyenterthe unwantedMACaddress(es)
orselectthedevice(s)fromtheWireless Client List.When
wirelessMACfilteringisenabled,thisoptionisselected
bydefault.
Permit Selectthis option to specifywhich devices can
accessyourwirelessnetwork.Whenthisoptionisenabled,
only devices that have their MAC address listed in the
Wireless MAC Filterlistwillbeabletoaccessyourwireless
network.YoucanenterMACaddressesmanuallyorselect
themfromtheWireless Client List.
