Installing the front panel I/O device assembly
To instal the front panel I/O device assembly:
1. Guide the front panel I/O device assembly cables through the chassis openings from which they
were removed.
2. Place the front panel I/O device assembly in the chassis, and then install the fastening screws in
reverse order as they were removed.
3. Connect the front panel I/O audio
and USB
2
cables to the system board as shown in the
following diagram.
NOTE: The front panel I/O device assembly also has a 1394a cable that should be clipped to the
bottom of the chassis in the plastic clip if it is not used or it can be connected to an optional 1394
expansion card.
