Boot Options Menu
The Boot Options Menu (/boot) is used for upgrading switch software, selecting config-
uration blocks, and for resetting the switch when necessary.
To use the Boot Options Menu, you must be logged in as the administrator. The Boot
Options Menu provides options for:
Selecting a software image to be used when the switch is next reset
Selecting a configuration block to be used when the switch is next reset
Downloading or uploading a new software image to the switch via FTP/TFTP
Maintenance Menu
The Maintenance Menu (/maint) allows you to generate a dump of the critical state
information, and to clear entries in the forwarding database and the ARP and routing
tables.
[Boot Options Menu]
image - Select software image to use on next boot
conf - Select config block to use on next boot
gtimg - Download new software image via FTP/TFTP
ptimg - Upload selected software image via FTP/TFTP
reset - Reset switch
cur - Display current boot options
[Maintenance Menu]
sys - System Maintenance Menu
fdb - Forwarding Database Manipulation Menu
debug - Debugging Menu
arp - ARP Cache Manipulation Menu
igmp - IGMP Multicast Group Menu
uudmp - Uuencode FLASH dump
ptdmp - Upload FLASH dump via FTP/TFTP
cldmp - Clear FLASH dump
tsdmp - Tech support dump
pttsdmp - Upload tech support dump via FTP/TFTP
