Paper Selection
Specifications for each type of special paper are given below.
Colored Paper
Colored paper should meet the same specifications as listed for white bond paper in page B-3. In
addition, the pigments used in the paper must be able to withstand the temperature during printing.
Preprinted Paper
The paper base of preprinted paper should meet basic specifications. The preprinted ink must be
able to withstand the temperature during printing and must not be susceptible to the effects of
silicon oil. Do not use paper with any kind of surface treatment, such as the type of paper
commonly used for calendars.
Overhead Projection (OHP) Film
OHP film must be able to withstand the heat of fusing during the printing process. Specifications
are as follows.
