SonicWALL CDP Agent Installation on Windows
This section describes the requirements and installation steps for Windows computers.
Installation Prerequisites for Windows
In order to install the SonicWALL CDP Agent, you must have:
• A computer which meets or exceeds the following requirements:
• Pentium III 450 MHZ Processor
• 256 MB of RAM
• 40 MB of free disk space
• Windows 7, Vista, XP, or Windows Server 2003, or 2008
• Administrator privileges on the computer you are installing to
• All applications closed before installing
Installing the SonicWALL CDP Windows Agent
Perform the following steps to install the SonicWALL CDP Agent on your Windows computer:
Step 1 Navigate to the folder where your software was downloaded and double-click the setup file to
begin the installation process.
Note If you are running Windows XP SP2 or use a third-party firewall, you may receive a warning
during installation of the SonicWALL CDP software. Select the option to install SonicWALL
CDP.
Step 2 Select your preferred language and click Next.
Note If you wish to change your language in the future, you will need to uninstall and re-install the
software.
