We recommend that the link method is only used when VT100
management is not possible, for example, when you've forgotten
your password, as this method involves physically removing and
installing the module twice. For information on resetting the
module via VT100, see
Erasing All Changes
on page 2-27.
To reset the bridge module:

Remove the module from the LinkBuilder MSH chassis.

Change the link to the reset position, see Figure A-2
.

Install the module into the LinkBuilder MSH chassis.

When the module has finished its self-test (self-test is indicated by
the PWR LED flashing), remove it from the LinkBuilder MSH
chassis.

Change the link to the normal position, see Figure A-3

Install the module into the LinkBuilder MSH chassis. The module is
now reset to its default settings.
