Hardware Cursor Mode
The CM1164 supports Hardware Cursor Mode, which can be enabled via OSD
(see Hardware Cursor Mode, page 40). With this feature, you can use the
mouse while the OSD is invoked and navigate the OSD menus and select menu
options as if you were working with a web browser. Normally, the mouse stops
working when the OSD is displayed and users can only use the keyboard. The
Hardware Cursor Mode presents a convenient way of configuring the CM1164
OSD and customizing the device, such as switching video sources or display,
quickly and efficiently.
Note: The Hardware Cursor Mode is disabled by default.
Channel Editor
The Channel Editor enables you to use the mouse and change the screen
position of a channel, simply by dragging the display channel window(s) across
the screen; you can also click on the port number to toggle between up to 3
display sizes. In addition, you can easily edit the port number assigned to a
display channel without going to the OSD Port screen and manually changing
the numbers.
Note: Some of the Channel Editor functions only works with Picture in
Picture (PiP) mode, such as changing the display channel screen
position and window size.
Click and hold the port number to highlight the display channel window,
then drag it across the screen to a new position.
