Error Code Table (Listed by Number)
Errors in reports are recorded as numbers because there is not enough space to
print a detailed description of the error in the report. When errors are recorded in
reports, note the error code number, and check it against the table below to learn
more about what caused the error and how to remedy it. Try to solve the problem
following the procedure described as Remedy. If you cannot nd the
corresponding error code below, refer also to Chapter 13, Troubleshooting, in the
Facsimile Guide.
#0001
Cause A document may be jammed in the ADF (Automatic Document Feeder).
Remedy Remove the jammed document and try again. (See Clearing Document Feed
Jams, on p. 7-2.)
#0003
Cause The document is longer than 39 3/8" (1 meter).
Remedy Make a reduced copy of the document with a copy machine, then send the copy.
You can also cut the document, and paste it onto smaller sheets of paper. (See
Chapter 14, Appendix, in the Facsimile Guide.)

installed correctly.
Remedy Check all paper cassettes, and make sure they are installed correctly.

Remedy Check the paper cassette, and clear the paper jam. (See Clearing Printer Feed
Jams, on p. 7-5.)
