Using the
DRPD function
lf
there
is an answering
machine connected
to
your
facsimile,
while the
facsimile
is
ringing,
the answering
machine
is connected
to the
telephone
circuit.
The
answering
machine
operates
normally by
playing
your
message and
then
recording
the
verbal
message
of
the
caller.
While
the
answer
message
is
playing,
if the
facsimile detects
an
CNG signal,
the
facsimile
enters
the document
receiving
mode.

(both
lamPs
otf)
When both
the
AUTO and
ANS
HOOK
UP
lamps are
turned off and
there
is
a
call,
the
facsimile
listens
to
the
ring
pattern
and determines
which of
the
ring
patterns
is received.
TALK and
the corresponding
user
name
are
alternately
displayed,
then
you
can execute
normal
manual
mode operation.
