FINE/HALFTONE lamps Increases the clarity
of documents

send. Lamps
show
which setting
is
on.
When both
lamps
are off,
you
are
in
the
standard setting.

handset The

The hook button on the
handset
or extension

hook button is released,
you
can hear a dial tone.
Ink footprint
The ink footprint appears
at the
lower left corner
of the
received document,

Use manual
reception when
your
fax is being used
as a
telephone.
After the
phone
rings
and
you
pick
up the
receiver,
if
you
hear
a slow beep
this means
someone
is
sending
you
a fax.

When the
AUTO
and ANS
HOOK UP lamps
are off,
the fax is set
lo receive
manually.
