receiving transactions.
The
timer can be set to
print
out
this report at the same time
every day.
Record of documents sent and received.
Each report
includes date and time of transaction, name and telephone
number of the
sending or receiving
pany,
and
number of
document
pages.
The fax can be set up 10
print
out activity
reports every time it
sends or
receives a document.
When the remote fax is busy or does not answer, or when an
error occurs when
sending,
the fax waits 2 minutes and then
automatically redials
the same
number. lf there is still no
answer, it makes 1 more attempt atter waiting for 2 minutes.
After the third unsuccessful attempt, it
prints
an error
transmission report.
Dialing
numbers at
the
press
of one or a few keys. To use
automalic dialing,
you
must register
the fax numbers
in the
memory of the machine. With
this fax
you
have two
methods of automatic dialing
available : One{ouch
dialing
and Coded speed dialing.
Switch to automatic receiving
when
you
are out of the
otfice
or not using
the
fax as a telephone.
When
the AUTO lamp is
on and the
FAVTEL
switch
is OFF, the fax
is in the automatic
receiving mode. Even if
paper
runs oul,
the fax automatically
stores any documents il
receives in the
memory.
The
print
head
prints
every time
it makes a
pass
across
the
page
in both directions. Because
bi-directional
printing
prints
every
time it moves across
the
page,
it is much
faster
than unidirectional
printing.

ink
iet
technology
which uses
an ink
cartridge
containing 64 nozzles
that shoot ink
onto the
paper
about 3000 times
per
second. The
ink in the nozzle
is heated
to form a bubble
which forces the
ink out of the
nozzle. This

and
produces
high-quality
high
resolution documents,
