Canon B75 Copier User Manual

Using tha memory
Here we will
show
you
how to
use
the facsimile's
memory. The facsimile memory can store up
to 10
letter-size
pages.
You
can use
memory
to
store
documents
for most
sending operations.
.
The size of one
page
is based on standard
CCITT No.
1
Chart.
With the
exception of
manual
dialing,
when
you
send a
document,
first
you
have
to
scan
it into the memory.
Every time
you
scan a document
into the
memory, the
fax
assigns
it
a
transaction number.
This transaction
number
can be displayed or
printed
on
reports to help
you
identify
a document.
Later if
you
want to
print
out
the
document or erase
it from the
memory
before
you
send
it,
you
have to know the transaction
number.
There
are
two ways to identify
a document's
transaction number.
r
You
can check
the
display
when the
document
is
being scanned
into the memory. l{
you
think
you
might
need the transaction number
later, write it
clown.
TXIRX
No. 0037
r
You
can also
print
out
a
memory list for a copy of
the transaction numbers
of all
documents currentlv
in the
memory.

After
a document
is loaded into the
memory
(or
if
documents
have
been
received in the
memory) the
MEMORY lamp
on
the control
panel
lights.
After
all
documents
in the memory
have
been
sent
(or
received
documents
have
been
printed),
the
memory
lamp
goes
off.
After
you
try to send
a document,
if
the
memory
lamp
stays on, check
to see
if
you
have run out of
paper.
lf
the
paper
tray
is
empty,
load more
paper. (

When
you
scan a document
into
the memory,
there
must
be enough
room to hold the entire document.
lf
the memory fills up
while
copying
a document,
the fax
erases
the document
you
are
trying
to load.
To make
room for the document,
you
either
have to erase or
send other documents
currently
stored
in the
memory.
