CHECK COVER/CART – The toner cartridge is
not installed properly.
Make sure the toner
cartridge is installed
properly. See page 2-29
The front cover is
open.
Close the front cover.
CHECK DOCUMENT #001 A document is jammed
in the Automatic
Document Feeder
(ADF).
Remove the document you
are trying to send or copy
and load it again.
CHECK PAPER SIZE – The size of the paper in
the multi-purpose tray
differs from that
specified in the PAPER
SIZE setting or the
MultiPASS Desktop
Manager.
Set the correct paper size
in the PAPER SIZE
setting. See pages 13-12
and 13-13. You can also set
the correct paper size from
the MultiPASS Desktop
Manager. See the
MultiPASS Desktop
Manager User’s Guide.
CHECK PRINTER – The toner cartridge in
the MultiPASS L60 is
defective.
1. Reinstall the cartridge.
2. Unplug the MultiPASS
L60, wait five seconds,
then plug it in again. If
the display does not
change, call for service.
The unit is connected
to an uninterruptible
power supply (UPS).
Make sure the power cord
is plugged into an AC
outlet.
CLEAR PAPER JAM #009 The MultiPASS L60
has a paper jam.
Clear the jam. If a
document was received in
memory, the unit prints the
received documents from
memory.
COMMUNICATING
PLEASE WAIT
– You tried to use
manual sending via the
handset while the fax
was sending from
memory.
Wait until the fax is sent
and try again, or use
memory sending.
DOC TOO LONG #003 It took more than 32
minutes to send or
copy a document.
Divide the document and
send or copy each part
separately.
It took more than 32
minutes to receive a
document.
Contact the sender, and
have them divide the
document and send each
part separately.
The document is longer
than 1 metre.
Use a copier to divide the
document into smaller
sections and send the copy.
