Multishelf System Preliminary Site Survey
Will the routing system be connected to
OC-48/STM-16 POS or DPT circuits? If
so, how many ports?
Will the routing system be connected to
OC-192/STM-64 POS or DPT circuits? If
so, how many ports?
Will the routing system be connected to
OC-768/STM-256 POS circuits? If so,
how many ports?
Will the routing system be connected to
10-Gigabit Ethernet (GE) circuits? If so,
how many ports?
Will the routing system be connected to
OC-768/STM-256 circuits? If so, how
many ports?
Will the routing system be connected to
Gigabit Ethernet circuits? If so, how
many ports?
Cable Management
Have cables been pulled for data interfaces?
If not, list the outstanding cabling needs and
scheduled completion dates.
Are there connection points on the fiber
distribution panel for all optical cables that
will be connected to the routing system?
Who will provide fiber jumpers? What
length of fiber jumper is needed?
What type of fiber connector is used at the
installation site?
If attenuation is required, are attenuators
available at the installation site? If not,
who will pay for them?
