To configure an 802.1Q VLAN entry, check the desired
option in the first two lines of the screen above and enter a
VID number and Description. Next, check Tag option for
each member port you wish to be a Tagging port. In the
bottom two lines, None should be checked if you don’t
want a port to belong to the VLAN. Otherwise, check
Egress to statically set a port to belong to a VLAN. Click
Apply to let the changes take effect.
Trunk
The DES-3225G supports up to 3 trunk groups. Trunks are
groups of ports that are banded together to form a single,
logical, high-bandwidth data pipe.
Items in the above window are defined as follows:
Name The user-assigned name of the trunk group.
