80 Using the Console Interface
Parameters allow you to change the behind the scene
parameters of the Spanning Tree Algorithm at the bridge
level. The parameters for this section have been fully
explained in Chapter 5’s Switch Management, see STA
Operation Levels: On the Bridge level, and User-Changeable
Parameters. It is recommended that you read these
sections, as well as the introductory section in the same
chapter entitled Spanning Tree Algorithm before changing
any of the parameters.
STP Parameter Settings
To change the Protocol Parameters:
1.
Choose Configure Spanning Tree Protocol from the
Configuration menu. The following Configure
Spanning Tree Protocol menu will be displayed:
