Release F.05.59
Fixed in release F.05.59
Daylight savings (PR_1000364740) — Due to the passage of the Energy Policy Act of
2005, Pub. L. no. 109-58, 119 Stat 594 (2005), starting in March 2007 daylight time in the United
States will begin on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November.
Release F.05.60
Fixed in release F.05.60
RSTP (PR_10004013943) — When RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol) is enabled and
a dynamic LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) trunk exists, RSTP may become
unstable when the trunk is transitioned to either link-up or link-down state. This instability
can result in loops and broadcast storms on the network.
Enhancement (PR_1000376193) — The switch can now receive LLDP (Link Layer
Discovery Protocol) packets from other devices on the network. In prior releases, only the
transmission of LLDP packets was supported. This change will allow more accurate switch
mapping in ProCurve Manager.
Release F.05.61
Fixed in release F.05.61
Crash (PR_1000407542) — Attempting to change the spanning-tree protocol version from
STP to RSTP may cause the switch to crash with a message similar to:
PPC Bus Error exception vector 0x300: Stack-frame=0x063d5de0 HW
Addr=0x4b5a697c IP=0x0064c648 Task='mSnmpCtrl' Task ID =0x63d5fe0fp:
0x4b5a6978 sp:0x063d5ea0 lr
RSTP (PR_1000405368) — When primary link goes down and then comes back online,
traffic continues on the redundant link and does not shift back to the primary link.
CLI (PR_1000426818) — The show tech command terminates before completing all show
commands with the error: Incomplete input: LLDP.
