b. On the STRSST display, select Start a service tool option. Press the Enter
key.
c. On the Start a Service Tool display, select Hardware service manager. Press
the Enter key.
d. From the Hardware Service Manager display, press F6 (print
configuration).
e. To return to the AS/400 Main menu, Press F3 (Exit) twice and then press
the Enter key.
f. Keep the list for future reference.
__ 16. For LPAR systems:

follow the procedures on
how to restore an LPAR
system after an upgrade.
After the primary is
configured properly, follow
the steps to recover the
secondary partition
configurations. After
recovering the original
secondary partitions, more
secondary partitions may be
added.
__ 17. If you receive the disk unit format warning screen during the first IPL (IPL
started at step 2 on page 28), then the disk unit format might need to be
optimized. For more information, go to the Backup and Recovery book.
__ 18. If you want to start device parity on any non-configured units, do it now.

__ 19. If you need to add non-configured disk units to an auxiliary storage pool
(ASP)...
a. That has mirrored pairs, do it now. Mirroring is automatically started.
b. That has no mirrored pairs and you want to start mirroring those units,
then do it now.
c. Then, add the disk units to the ASP now.
You use the Work with Disk Units option from the AS/400 dedicated service
tools display to add the nonconfigured disk units to an auxiliary storage
pool (ASP). For more information, go to the Backup and Recovery book.
__ 20. If any disk unit management was done (for example, steps 18 and 19
above), repeat steps 14 on page 31 and 15 on page 31.
