4.27 Action for Invalid Certificate
Select what operation is performed if the period of validity for the SSL sever
certificate has expired when this machine is connecting to an SSL server as
a client.
This setting is applied to the following functions.
- SMTP over SSL
- POP over SSL
- LDAP over SSL
- WebDAV over SSL
- When using SSL to communicate from this machine to Windows Vista
with Web Service
1 Touch [5 Network Setting] in the Administrator Settings screen.
– For details on displaying the Administrator Settings screen, refer to
“Displaying the Administrator Settings screen” on page 3-7.
2 Touch [Fwd.→] in the Network Settings screen, and then touch [5 De-
tail Settings].
3 Touch [9 Action for Invalid Certificate].
The Action for Invalid Certificate screen appears.
4 Specify the desired settings.
– If “Continue” is selected, the job continues, even if the period of va-
lidity for the server certificate has expired.
– If “Delete the Job” is selected, the job is deleted if the period of va-
lidity for the server certificate has expired.
