7.6 Commands
The following section will outline commands used to implement dedicated protocol with an

Series Controller.

Command Description Section
1) Communication Line Check
Format A has limited operational functionary, however,
checking the connection between the controller and the
personal computer is the primary aim.

2) Read Command
The READ command is used to retrieve the status of
the intended internal device. Format B only.

3) Write Command
The WRITE command is used to control the status of
the intended internal device. Format B only.

4) Run/Stop Command
The RUN/STOP command is used to control the
operation of the controller.

5) Time Switch Command
The Time Switch command follows the same principle
as the READ/WRITE commands in Format B, however,
a different structure is required due to the amount of
data needed to implement a setting change.
