Installing the OkiLAN 6100e+
Overview
To configure the network to access and use the
OkiLAN 6100e+, follow these steps:
• Install the OkiLAN 6100e+ (See Section I)
Add a User to the Network for the OkiLAN 6100e+
• Create Print Services for the OkiLAN 6100e+ and
Specify the OkiLAN 6100e+ User as a Destination
Adding the OkiLAN 6100e+ as a User
To access the OkiLAN 6100e+ within the network, you
must establish the OkiLAN 6100e+ as a user. This task
is accomplished using the VINES MANAGE utility.
For more information on Adding a User, refer to the
Banyan VINES manual, Managing VINES Users and
StreetTalk.
1. Type MANAGE at the system prompt. The System
Management menu will appear.
2. Select 2 - Users and press Enter.
