OKI OkiLAN 6100e+ User’s Guide
Print server is not a destination for print service
The PCPRINT StreetTalk name must match the name
you assigned using the Destination Attributes screen
when you configured the network to access and use the
OkiLAN 6100e+.
Problem communicating across network
Indicates that OkiNet for VINES has tried to
communicate with the printer server and could not get a
response. (OkiNet for VINES will try for 8-15 seconds
before timeout.) To increase timeout, select Startup
from the Options pull-down menu.
Invalid User Name or StreetTalk cannot find [user
name]
The StreetTalk Name assigned to the print server in
OkiNet for VINES is invalid. You must create a user
for the print server using the MANAGE utility. Make
sure the error has not occurred due to a typographical
error. Also, check that the StreetTalk User Name you
created in the MANAGE utility matches the StreetTalk
Name you specified in OkiNet for VINES.
Access Rights Denied: Print Server StreetTalk
Name
The user does not have the proper access rights to
change to this StreetTalk Name. The user must be on
the AdminList of the group where the Print Server
StreetTalk Name is a member.
Print service name is invalid
The Print Service you have entered does not exist. You
must first create this print service using the MANAGE
utility. Make sure the print service error has not
occurred due to a typographical error. Also, check that
the StreetTalk User Name you created in the MANAGE
utility matches the StreetTalk Name you specified in
OkiNet for VINES.
